The CCM Tacks 9060 Ice Hockey Pants provide affordable and solid protection from top to bottom. The kidneys have molded PE caps lined with medium-density foam to guard against cross-checks and anatomically wrap around the waist. The spine guard has an injected plastic insert that is sandwiched between the closed-cell foam and medium-density foam for very lightweight yet top-notch protection. Each hip gets molded JDP Cap construction, which disperses impact energy away from the joint while medium-density foam adds comfort and more impact absorption.
The lower thigh guards float within the shell to improve mobility and keep protection covering the thigh in every movement. The thigh shell is also easily accessible to provide teams or players with custom embellishment. The exterior consists of a durable 400D nylon and polyester with extra material added in high wear areas. An external nylon belt and traditional skate lace closure system keeps protection locked down and comfortable. The legs also feature zippered openings to allow the pants to be put on after tying up your skates or for players who like added volume around the legs.
