The CCM Axis A1.9 Goalie Blocker is built with laminated dual-density foam and PE inserts, which means it can redirect rebounds with better control while offering a high level of protection. This design is perfect for the butterfly style goalie who needs to direct the puck deep into the corner so they can set up for the next play.

A unique design that’s new to the Axis lineup is the curved finger protection. High-density foam surrounds the fingers for the best protection possible with the index finger coverage utilizing a new curved design so that when the hand grips the stick, it remains fully protected from deflected pucks.

CCM thinned down the blocker profile too, which helped to reduce weight without sacrificing protection or rebound control. The entire blocker then boasts CCM’s Speed Skin Technology, a highly durable material that resists wear and tear without increasing the blocker’s weight.

Improving on wrist mobility, the cuff features a 3-piece design that gives the wrist a better range of motion for playing the puck or stretching out for that big blocker save. Internally, a Nash palm keeps the hand comfortable all game long and provides a secure grip for the stick.
